The introduction of more wolves in to the wilderness areas in Wyoming has brewed a conflict between the ranchers and the animal rights groups which ihas been an ongoing issue for many years. 

Recently there have been moves to reintroduce  more wolves into Colorado. 

Pretty sure that will lead to the same problems.
